Considering all this, we are pretty sure that the 2023 Lincoln Navigator will come without more important changes. It should be a typical carryover model, though there is always room for minor updates like new color options, more standard equipment etc.
The overall layout will remain the same, so you may count on the same qualities. This SUV has so many great things to offers, starting from the stylish and well-equipped cabin, which also offers plenty of passenger and cargo room. The ride is very smooth and comfortable, while the twin-turbo V6 ensures strong driving dynamics and a pretty impressive max towing rating.
Considering that there are no significant changes to come, we expect that the 2023 Lincoln Navigator will hit the market sometime in the last quarter of the year.
2023 Lincoln Navigator Design
Design-wise, the 2023 Lincoln Navigator won’t bring any particular change. We are about to see a familiar layout, which has been updated recently with the new styling. The new look includes a revised grille design, new lighting and similar things, so it’s hard to expect bigger styling changes before the redesign.
Mechanically, things remained pretty much the same. The Navigator continues to offer a smooth and comfortable ride but also benefits from its BoF nature. It offers a pretty impressive max towing capacity of 8.700 pounds. At the same time, it comes with features like a forward-facing camera, which recognizes bumps in the road and adapts suspension, in order to reduce the impact.
While the comfort is at a pretty high level, the handling isn’t all that engaging. Rivals like Cadillac Escalade and BMW X7 are better in this aspect and more fun to drive.
Interior
The Navigator may not be the most engaging SUV on the market but its cabin design is exceptional. We like the elegant design approach, which perfectly combines classic aesthetics with high-end materials. The overall build quality is excellent, while there is also a lot of attention to detail.
The Navigator is one of the most spacious SUVs on the market, particularly in terms of passenger room. This is one of the rare SUVs that accommodate adults in all three rows. Of course, the front seats are the most impressive, with massive design and excellent support. The second row is as generous with space, while you can also opt for the captain’s chairs. The third row is probably the roomiest in the class.
When it comes to the cargo area, you may count on about 20.9 cubic feet of space behind the third row, 63.6 cubic feet behind the second row and the total cargo capacity of 103 cubic feet. That’s pretty impressive, though Cadillac Escalade offers even more.
Features
We don’t expect that the 2023 Lincoln Navigator could bring more important changes in this aspect. We expect that the list will remain the same, with all the novelties that were introduced with the 2022 model. This particularly refers to the new 13.2-inch infotainment screen, which looks great and works even better. Base models will also come equipped with tri-zone climate control, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hot spot, navigation, 14 speakers, satellite radio, six USB ports, and wireless device charging. Among upgrades, expect to find things like a panoramic sunroof, a 20-speaker audio system and a dual-screen rear-seat entertainment system.
The same thing goes for safety features. We expect to see base models with goodies like a rearview camera, parking sensors, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert etc. Things like a head-up display, surround-view camera and automatic park assist will be optional.
2023 Lincoln Navigator Engines
This aspect definitely won’t bring any changes. We are about to see a familiar 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, which puts out 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. With all that power, this SUV moves with ease. Driving dynamics are great, while we also like the fact that max towing capacity goes all-away up to 8.700 pounds.
When it comes to fuel economy, you may count on 16 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway, which are typical ratings for the class.
2023 Lincoln Navigator Release Date and Price
As there are no significant changes to come, we expect that the 2023 Lincoln Navigator will hit the market sometime in the last quarter of the year. The starting price should go around 78.000 dollars. The competition is pretty tough and includes models like Cadillac Escalade, Lexus LX, Mercedes-Benz GLS etc.
