The new model is praised for various things, particularly in terms of luxury, towing capacity and overall performance. However, something is still missing. Yes, we are talking about an off-road version, which would carry the well-known Trailhawk name. At this point, the officials are still quiet but various sources speculate about the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk, which could come already by the end of this year.
If this version is about to arrive, we are pretty sure about what we can expect from it. It will be mostly about additional off-road upgrades, though we wouldn’t be surprised if we see some styling upgrades as well, which would accentuate the model’s rugged character. Finally, some reports also suggest that the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk could get a more powerful powertrain.
We believe that the new model could hit the market by the end of this year.
2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk Design
As we already mentioned, the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk would come with all kinds of upgrades. Still, the overall design would remain the same, based on the standard model. Based on Ram’s body-on-frame platform, this SUV offers a great combination of performance, utility and luxury, which is something you usually don’t get in this segment.

The cargo area offers around 27.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind its third-row seats, 70.8 cubic feet with these seats folded, and 116.7 cubic feet of the total cargo volume. While that’s plenty of space, some rivals like GMC Yukon and Toyota Sequoia offer even more.

The 2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk won’t be cheap and therefore, we are pretty sure that the list of standard equipment will be pretty long. We count on all kinds of tech goodies, starting from a 10.1-inch touch screen, a 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster, 10.3-inch passenger-side touchscreen, navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless device charging, a Wi-Fi hot spot, Bluetooth, eight USB ports, satellite radio, nine-speaker stereo etc.
When it comes to convenience features, we expect that the list of standard equipment will include keyless entry, push-button start, remote start, and tri-zone automatic climate control, while goodies like a panoramic sunroof and more.
Finally, there is the matter of safety. We expect that the Wagoneer Trailhawk will come standard with goodies like a rearview camera, parking sensors, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane keep assist etc.
2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk Engine
Engine upgrades are also possible. The standard Wagoneer comes with a 5.7-liter HEMI V8, which puts out around 392 horsepower and 404 pound-feet of torque. However, many believe that the Trailhawk would come equipped with something more powerful, with a 6.4-liter HEMI engine that puts out 470 horsepower. Of course, the four-wheel drive would be standard, while the power would be sent to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
