The segment of mid-size luxury SUV is full of great models, starting from Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5 etc. However, none of these come close to the Bentayga, which costs much more but also gives much more. It is way more luxurious and prestigious, so the fact that the current generation has been around for a while doesn’t affect its quality. Therefore, we are pretty sure that the 2023 Bentley Bentayga will come without more important changes. We expect to see a familiar design and features, though there is always room for minor updates.
You may count on an SUV that has so many great things to offer. Of course, one of the first that comes to mind is the interior, which combines exceptional build quality with top-notch materials. Furthermore, the ride is butter smooth, while the choice between V8 and W12 powertrain makes it pretty exclusive. On the other hand, the biggest complaint goes to the fact that most advanced driver-assistance features are optional, while the styling feels a little bit polarizing.
As there are no significant changes to come, we expect that the 2023 Bentley Bentayga will hit the market sometime in the last quarter of the year.
2023 Bentley Bentayga Design
Design-wise, the 2023 Bentley Bentayga should carry on in the same. Even though the current generation has been around for several years, the car still looks fresh, partly because of the 2020 facelift. Mechanically, this SUV is based on the MLB platform, the same one that underpins models like Audi Q7 or Porsche Cayenne. Even the wheelbase is the same, though the Bentayga features a lot of upgrades, especially in terms of the suspension setup. As a result, it offers less athleticism than Cayenne, for example, but an unparalleled level of athleticism.
Interior
Without any doubt, this is one of the aspects where 2023 Bentley Bentayga will continue to stand out. Just one look at the dashboard and it becomes clear that we are talking about classic British luxury. The materials are exceptional, while the build quality and attention to detail are out of this world. Furthermore, the tech features are nicely integrated into this classic dashboard design.
Of course, seats are massive and comfortable, while the driving position is excellent. The rear seats are also pretty spacious and comfortable, perfect for long journeys. The third row is optional and it isn’t particularly generous with space.
On the other hand, we can’t say the same thing for the cargo area. You get less than you would get from the most mid-size luxury SUVs, as the price you have to pay for the generous second row. In numbers, this SUV offers around 17 cubic feet behind the second row and 62.6 cubic feet of the total cargo volume.
Features
Experts are divided when it comes to standard features in this SUV. While the list is pretty generous by itself, many believe that a car at this price range should offer more. For example, a 10.9-inch infotainment screen isn’t particularly big by today’s standards. Still, it works flawlessly. Moreover, it can be controlled from the back seats, and rear passengers can even surf on the internet. A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster is also part of the standard equipment, as well as a 12-speaker audio system. A 20-speaker premium audio system is optional.
2023 Bentley Bentayga Engines
We expect no changes in this aspect. The hybrid version has been discontinued from the North American market, so base models will carry on with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8.
