One of the interesting things about this crossover is that it was originally planned for the Chinese market only. However, the management realized its potential and decided to offer it in North America as well. It rides on the company’s new VSS platform. Also, there are safety features like a rearview camera, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and automatic high-beam headlights.
Higher trim levels offer even more. You can pay extra for goodies like a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, an 8-inch touch screen, HD Radio, satellite radio, two additional USB ports, a six- or seven-speaker stereo, wireless device charging, and many more. Upgrades in terms of safety are features like rear parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control.
2022 Chevy Trailblazer Engines
The powertrain offered for the 2022 Chevy Trailblazer will remain the same. Base versions will continue with a 1.2-liter turbo-three, which puts out 137 horsepower and comes in pair with a CVT gearbox.
