Crossover named Bentayga was presented at the last car show in Frankfurt, but company didn’t announce when the production model is arriving. According to latest rumors, it won’t happen next year, as it was predicted earlier, but the year after next, and the machine is coming as 2018 Bentley Bentayga.

To achieve big numbers, first condition for 2018 Bentley Bentayga is to have reliable and strong engine. It should be W-12 unit, probably with 6.0-displacement. This Bentayga Speed drivetrain could be compared to the one placed in the Contitnental GT car. It is for about 10 percent stronger than this W-12. That means 2018 Bentayga is going to deliver around 600 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. Powerful drivetrain should be mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission, which distributes power to all wheels. Bentayga is going to sprint to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds, while gossips are telling that 2018 year crossover could be the first vehicle in this segment to go over 200 mph. To reach that mark, company is preparing a lot of upgraded systems, including sportier exhaust and chassis design.
