The 2018 Toyota Prado is coming improved and better than before. Actually, new crossover is probably the best ever. Slight tuning on engine, modifications on exterior and new elements inside, are all coming with SUV. One of the highlights on the vehicle is more usage of lightweight materials. Furthermore, that leads to better fuel economy. On the other hand, quality is not affected with it. Actually, reliability and durability can’t be questionable if Toyota wants their vehicles on top. Mid-size segment is very popular nowadays. Because of that, companies put extra effort and features to make their products better than others.

2018 Toyota Prado drivetrain
Under the hood of the 2018 Toyota Prado could be 2.8-l turbo-diesel engine. New Hilux is using it, and this 4-cylinder drivetrain can make around 180 hp. Maximum torque probably goes to 350 lb-ft. Power is sent through 6-speed automatic transmission. New super ECT system is also possibility, probably for upper levels of Prado. These units could carry 3.0-l gasoline engine instead of diesel variant. Contrary to 2.8-l diesel, this is V6 powertrain with output of 300 hp. However, torque is reduced for this model.
