Rally cars could be speciality of Subaru company, but they make vehicles in other segments. These are not so successful as their race siblings, but these are competitive too. For example, we have 2018 Subaru Exiga crossover. This might not be the first SUV any driver would think about, but it is everything but not exciting. Development is lasting for ten years, and it seems like the time is now to make breakthrough. Characteristics are exceptional design, efficiency, accurate performance… We also know that Exiga is taking position in full-size segment, and not fans worldwide will have a chance to get it.
2018 Subaru Exiga release date
New 2018 Subaru Exiga is coming next year. Company is taking time to fix all for premiere. Nevertheless, debut will probably happen in Australia or Singapore. These two countries will be first to get it. On the other hand, this vehicle will be available for Japanese fans, but under different name certainly. With many changes we can expect Exiga SUV to start from $23,000. Top of the class models will cost about $30,000.
2018 Subaru Exiga redesign
Styling of the 2018 Subaru Exiga must fulfill many needs. First of all, it has to be stylish. Furthermore, durability of the parts is also important. Crossover is going to hit roads, but it will perform off it. So, bumpers and side panels must be ready to take hits and survive them. But, if any company can provide such off-road performance, that is Subaru. As its first model, 2018 edition will bring something futuristic and modern. Seating positions in all three rows are higher. Systems in the cabin are at top level. Safety is probably highlight since not too many other SUVs can offer the same security for passengers.
2018 Subaru Exiga engine
New 2018 Subaru Exiga will make at least 250 hp and 220 lb-ft of torque. This is thanks to 2.5-l four-cylinder engine. Power goes through CVT gearbox either to front or all wheels. Diesel model is not likely to happen, but we are sure is that SUV can bring better mileage. Exact numbers are unknown yet. Although diesel is missing, Exiga will not have other petrol drivetrain in 2018 season lineup.
