Not only that, but 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander is now more comfortable, fuel-friendly and possibly cheaper. Available in few trims, new SUV offers various styles. With all upgrades on the Outlander, warning is sent to competition. However, the most benefits from that is for buyers. They will have wider offer of vehicles.

We have two types of powertrains for 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander. Entry-level ES, and mid-range models SE and finally SEL are getting power from 2.4-l four-cylinder unit. It sends power through automated CVT to front wheels. Total output is 166 horses and 160 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is also available for purchase. Comparing to these, top of the class model, Outlander GT offers stronger V6 engine. Its displacement is 3.0-liter. Also, system pairs drivetrain with 6-speed automatic gearbox, which distributes power to all wheels. Finally, larger unit can make more power, 225 horses and 215 lb-ft of torque.

Finally, engineers put a lot of effort to increase fuel economy on the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander. By that, result comes with combined mpg rate around 27. Number is for FWD models with 4-cylinder engine, while AWD system takes slightly more fuel. GT model with V6 engine records significant increase of the fuel usage. Estimated combined consumption there is 23 mpg.
