Concept presented during 2011 in Frankfurt is finally developed by Maserati. Italian carmaker, known for luxurious vehicles, is in SUV market with Levante crossover. It is confirmed that 3.0-l V6 unit is powertrain of the crossover. Additionally, two turbochargers offer more power. With it, 2018 Maserati Levante can make 345 hp. This V6 engine can also provide 425 horses for upper S trim. Diesel variant is mentioned is some rumors, but it is still unconfirmed. Company announced that crossover can sprint to 60 mph in just over 5 seconds. There are rumors about top of the line model of Levante. Heart of this model will be twin-turbo 3.8-liter V-8 currently. This drivetrain is ready to burst over 500 horses and 480 lb-ft of torque. Sprint time to same distance is reduced for around half of a second.
