The Range Rover Evoque is a compact luxury crossover, produced by British manufacturer Land Rover. This model was launched in 2011. Original model is still in production and, as you probably know, a mid-cycle refresh is ready for 2016 year model. 2017 Range Rover Evoque details
As we already mentioned, 2017 Range Rover Evoque will come in special variant with longer wheelbase. It will be called Evoque Plus. The exact details about this variant are still unknown. When it is about visual appearance, it is expected that this model will feature the same design language as standard model. All changes that come with mid-cycle refresh will be included too. When it is about performances of this longer version, it is expected that 2017 Range Rover Evoque Plus will come with some kind of adjustable suspension, which will improve off-road capabilities for sure. When it is about interior, it is we expect the same cabin as for 2016 year model. The cabin of 2017 Evoque Plus will be nearly identical to standard model. However, we expect to see much more room, compared to standard Evoque.
2017 Range Rover Evoque engine
The 2017 Range Rover Evoque will feature the same engine lineup as 2016 year model. This includes also new 2.0 liter turbodiesel engine. This unit is available in two variants. The first one delivers 148 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque and it is paired with 6-speed automatic transmission. The other variant is paired with 9-speed automatic transmission and it is tuned up to 273 horsepower. This variant has fuel economy around 37 mpg, while firs-mentioned variant returns fantastic 68 mpg in a combined drive.
2017 Range Rover Evoque release date and price
The 2017 Range Rover Evoque is expected to come in the second half of next year. More precise date is still unknown. When it is about price, base model will go around 45.000 dollars, while Evoque Plus is expected to go around 50.000 dollars.
