New luxury SUV is coming as 2017 Lincoln Navigator L. This crossover will be out next summer, as new generation model. This is the first time Navigator get the redesign, and L model will be upgraded too. Overall dimensions are to be the same as for the previous model, exterior could be familiar, but performance and interior design will be completely new. Nevertheless, price is getting a boost also, with at least $65,000 tag for base model is prepared.

Under the hood of the 2017 Lincoln Navigator L is a 3.5-l V6 EcoBoost unit. This twin-turbo engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox, while manual remains optional. Also, power is sent to either rear or all wheels, at buyers choice. AWD models cost slightly more. Output of this powertrain is around 380 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. Three driving modes are available, with Normal as starting, Comfort and Sport for smooth or fast drive. Vehicle is not so fuel efficient, since it goes 15 mpg in city and 20 mpg on highway. All-wheel drive system takes even more gasoline.

Front bumper and fog lights are linked. Roof rails are installed on top of the crossover and highlight of the rear end are lights and exhaust tips. Inside, there is room for 7 passengers. Seats are made of leather, which is also wrapped around steering wheel.
Safety is boosted with total of 10 airbags, and there are parking sensors with rear-view camera. Other systems integrated into 2017 Navigator L are stability control and anti-lock braking system. Biggest competition comes from GMC Yukon, Cadillac Escalade and Infiniti QX80.
