Compact 2017 Chevrolet Trax crossover gets turbocharged unit as its base drivetrain. It is 1.4-l inline-four engine that sends power to front wheels. However, AWD Trax is possible with paying $1,500 extra. The four-cylinder engine can deliver 140 hp and 150 pound-feet of torque through 6-speed automatic transmission. Other powertrain options are unknown yet, and there are no additional rumors so far. However, this unit is fuel efficient, while Trax crossover is not capable for off-roading as some other vehicles.

Although 2017 Chevrolet Trax could be part of the new generation of the SUV, price for it shouldn’t be changed a lot if company is going to keep pace with rival vehicles. That means crossover could be available from somewhere between $25,000 and $30,000, depending on features list.
