Since there won’t be big changes to the full-size crossover, same engines range will be used for 2017 Chevrolet Suburban. For current SUV, there is a 5.8-l V8 drivetrain placed under its hood. Models with base engine can produce 355 hp. However, there is bigger powerplant installed for drivers who are looking for more power. Total 420 ponies are coming of 6.2-l V8 unit. Same engines are expected for 2017 Suburban, with slight improvement on fuel economy. Power will be distributed to wheels through 6-speed automatic gearbox, like at current models. There is no time for radical changes, so only slight improvements on mentioned options are possible.
