2016 Volvo XC90 details
Although new model keeps company’s recognizable style, it comes with many drastic changes, compared to its predecessor, which seems logical if you consider that original model was launched back in 2002. The 2016 Volvo XC90 comes with new platform, which provides much lighter body but also stronger construction. It is also longer, taller and lower than its predecessor. When it is about styling, new model is something completely different, although it is still easy-recognizable as Volvo’s product. There is almost nothing that reminds on original model. It comes with completely redesigned front fascia, which follows company’s new design language. New grille and slender headlamps fitted with “Thor’s Hammer” daytime running LED lights are definitely the most notable features at the front. On the rear end, 2016 XC90 features new taillights, which, just like on the previous Volvo models, run along the tailgate’s height. It also comes with completely new bumper and with new two-exhaust-pipe configuration.
The interior is probably the most astonishing part of the SUV. It is extremely stylish and full-of latest-technology features. But that is not all. As you probably know, this company pays special attention on space, especially when it is about rear passengers. Its third row of seats offers probably the most space in the class. According to the company, the third row is capable of holding people up to 5’7”.
