Styling of the 2016 Renault Captur could look familiar. If you think of some Nissan vehicle, you could be right. These two companies started their cooperation, so new Captur will use Juke B platform. First vehicle maybe had some glitches, but it should be gelled by 2016 year model. Recognizable detail from 2013 SUV was its base orange color, whic will be default option again. Base model of the 2016 Renault Captur comes with 1.2-l I-4 petrol drivetrain. It should deliver 115 hp and 140 -ft of torque. According to official information, new SUV will accelerate to 60 mph in 11 seconds. Max speed will be 120 mph. This engine is very economical, with fuel consumption of 50 mpg. Other powertrain option is diesel unit. It is 1.5-l inline-four with 90 hp and 160 lb-ft of torque. With this drivetrain 2016 Captur would sprint 2 seconds slower. Max speed also drops to 105 mph, but fuel economy raises significantly. Both units are mated to either five speed manual or six speed automated gearbox.

The 2016 Renault Captur should arrive soon to the dealerships. Refreshed model could come out at the end of 2015, or if delayed, early in 2016. However, its price should make it very attractive on the market. Basic model will be valued around $16.500, while some higher trims could go closer to $20.000.
