As one of leaders in the industry of luxury cars, especially when it is about SUV, Infiniti makes models of all classes. When it is about hi-end models, QX80 is definitely one of the most important one. New model comes with new front fascia, similar to one that is found on new QX50. The grille is redesigned, headlights and fog lights are all-LED, while bumper is reshaped and features sonar sensors for the adaptive cruise control and forward collision-alert system. Same thing is with rear end, it follows design changes from the front. The 2016 Infiniti QX80 will also come with new 22-inch alloy wheels and three new color options. When it is about interior, most of the characteristics will also remain unchanged, compared to last-year model. The cabin is redesigned and comes with new trims and also with longer list of standard features. Depending on trim level, you can choose optional packages with features like 15-speaker Bose surround-sound system, a climate-control system with auto recirculation or adaptive front lighting.
2016 Infiniti QX80 engine
Thing under the hood remain unchanged. The 2016 Infiniti QX80 will be powered by the same powerful V8 engine. It is a 5.6 liter V8, which is good enough for 400 horses and 413 pound-feet of torque. The transmission also remains unchanged. It is a 7-speed automatic transmission. The 2016 QX80 is capable to tow up to 8.500 pounds, but this SUV is also extremely quick. It makes 60 mph in just seven second, while fuel consumption is 14/20 mpg.
2016 Infiniti QX80 release date, price and competition
The 2016 Infiniti QX80 is expected to come later this year. Price will remain unchanged, which means in a range from 60.000 to almost 90.000 dollars. Main competitors are models like Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator etc.
