The Yukon is a full size SUV produced by GMC. Along with its relative Chevrolet Tahoe, it represents GM’s offer of vehicles of this type. The 2016 Yukon will come with new hands-free liftgate, which will be a standard feature already in a mid-grade SLT trim. We will also see some new color options in offer. Those are Crimson Red Tintcoat and White Frost Tricoat. When it is about interior, 2016 GMC Yukon will feature the same stylish and extremely comfortable cabin, which will be equipped with plenty of latest technologies. One of the most notable features is a standard eight-inch infotainment screen, which runs GMC’s IntelliLink software. There are also a plenty of optional features like dual screen Blu-ray/DVD system on rear seats, wireless headphones, heads-up display, navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio etc.

When it is about engines, 2016 GMC Yukon will be available in two variant, both equipped with V8 units. The base one is a 5.3 liter V8, which outputs 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with 6-speed automatic transmission. The other variant is powered by 6.2 liter V8 engine which is good enough for 420 hp and 460 lb-ft. This engine is paired with company’s newest 8-speed automatic transmission. However, both engines will get new 10-speed automatic transmission in near future.

The price of 2016 GMC Yukon will go in the pretty much same range as for 2015 year model. The base model will cost around 48.000 dollars, while top variants could easily go over 71.000 dollars. Main rivals are Lincoln Navigator and Lexus GX460.
