2016 Ford Escape
The Escape is definitely one of those very important models for “blue oval” company. It is a compact crossover, which originally came in 2000. So far, Ford released three generations of it. Current model came into showrooms in 2012 and it features plenty of novelties, compared to second-generation model. After three years of production, company prepares a facelift. The 2016 Ford Escape will come significantly refreshed. It will feature several changes and updated. We will see modified look, with new front fascia and some other tweaks. The cabin will also come with improvements, while powertrain is expected to remain unchanged.
2016 Ford Escape changes
Based on the company’s new Global C platform, this model features excellent balance between price and quality. This fact is probably the main reason for crossover’s success. However, company will make several modifications in order to keep model’s excellent position on market and try to even improve it. The 2016 Ford Escape will come with several changes, and most of the will be visual. The testing model is still camouflaged. However, if you just look at the covered areas, it is easy to conclude which parts will be redesigned. Most of the changes will, naturally, come at the front. It is expected that 2016 Escape will follow company’s design language. We will probably see a new front fascia, which will feature new, hexagonal grille and reshaped headlights with LED accents. We expect pretty much the same styling as for the new Edge that came last year.
Inside, 2016 Ford Escape will also feature some changes. It will come with new dashboard, which is still covered with camouflage. This model will be also one of the firsts that will feature company’s new Sync infotainment system, which comes as replacement for MyFord Touch interface.
