2016 Buick Enclave

The Enclave is a large luxury crossover, produced by General Motors, under the Buick brand. This SUV came in 2007 as 2008 year model and the original, first generation of it is still under production. There are not too many things that are changed compared to 2008-year model. The biggest modifications were made in 2012, when this model was face lifter. Those changes included some visual modifications, interior updated with new dashboard and also some new safety features. When it is about 2016 Buick Enclave, some bigger modifications are not expected. For now, it is only confirmed that new model will come with upgraded connectivity system, while rest is expected to remain unchanged.

As we already mentioned, bigger changes are not expected. The 2016 Buick Enclave will feature pretty much the same characteristics as previous-year model. It is a crossover that successfully combines unibody-structure dynamics with the functionality of classic body-on-frame SUV. This model is praised for its spacious cabin, especially when it is about cargo space. Visual appearance will remain unchanged. The 2016 Enclave will come with all of changes that came two years ago, which include new chrome grille, LED headlights, taillights etc. when it is about interior, styling will remain the same. However, we will still see some novelties. The 2016 Buick Enclave will come with upgraded connectivity system. It is an OnStar 4G LTE connectivity system, which includes a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, with up to seven devices used simultaneously. It also comes with a three-month 3GB data trial.

When it is about engine, things will remain unchanged. The 2016 Buick Enclave will be powered by the same 3.6 liter Lambda V6 engine, which has a maximum output of 288 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. It is paired with 6-speed automatic transmission and has fuel consumption of 17 mpg in city and 24 mpg in highway drive, when it is about FWD model. On the other side, AWD model makes slightly lower mpg results – 16 in the city and 22 on a highway drive.

It is expected that 2016 Buick Enclave will hit showrooms in next few months. It will keep the same price as current model, which goes between 40.000 and 50.000 dollars. Main competitors will be models like Acura MDX, Honda Pilot and Ford Explorer.
